The 2025 Certifications of Value were completed on August 19th, 2025.  The political subdivisions in York County have been notified of their value as they continue their budget preparations.   Certificates of Value can be found on the Assessor’s page of the York County website at https://www.yorkcounty.ne.gov/county-assessor.html.  Please watch for notices and announcements in local media regarding hearing information for the various political subdivisions as they work on their budgets and determine their tax asking.  Political subdivisions in York County include:

The York County Courthouse will be CLOSED on Monday, September 1st, 2025 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

The York County Courthouse will be CLOSED Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

The York County Courthouse will be CLOSED on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.

The York County Assessor's Office will be CLOSED all day on Wednesday, May 7th, and until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 8th for staff training.

The York County Courthouse will be CLOSED on Friday, April 25th in observance of Arbor Day.

The York County Assessor's Office will be conducting mobile offices to assist residents with completing their 2025 Homestead Exemption forms.  The mobile offices will be held at the following locations:

• Tuesday, April 15th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Benedict Community Center;

• Wednesday, April 16th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henderson City Hall offices; and

• Thursday, April 17th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waco Community Building.

Please remember to bring your income tax return or social security statements, W-2's, 1099's, medical expenses and trust documents.   For questions about the homestead exemption program and mobile offices, please call 402-362-4926 ext 6.

The York County Assessor's Office will be CLOSED on Monday, February 17th in observance of President's Day.
